Bernie Funck, founder, President and Project Manager, established Ranger Construction Company, Inc. in 2000 with six employees.
Today the company has a staff of over 30 who serve clients in North and South Carolina, including Beacon Partners,
ProLogis Trust, Childress Klein Properties and Carolinas HealthCare System.
In 2001, Ranger Service — a division of Ranger Construction — was created. This group provides property
maintenance and repair services and handles an average of 100 new projects each month. Ranger Service and its professional
team allow the company to respond to most any challenge — from emergency maintenance situations to rewiring cubicles and
anything in between.
Bernie and his team believe in the power of relationships built on trust. From clients to employees and subcontractors,
Ranger Construction and Ranger Service foster an atmosphere of trust and honesty clients rely on. The list of repeat
clients continues to grow as more businesses discover the high-quality workmanship of Ranger Construction and Ranger Service.
Community service is also important to the Ranger Construction team. In addition to supporting many volunteer events,
members of our team are actively involved in our community through Boy Scouts (Scout Master), coaching youth sports,
YMCA, church activities and serving on the Boards of numerous non-profit organizations.
